Morgen Hall
Morgen Hall has been a self-employed potter since 1986 having completed an MA in ceramics at Cardiff School of Art. "I make tablware that is both highly detailed and decorative as well as intended for everyday use. Food is the source of inspiration for ALL of my work. Fruits and vegetables, pasta shapes or tea leaves, for example, provide source material for surface pattern. The shapes of the tablewares are also related to the intended food use." For further information see www.morgenhall.co.uk Recently, Morgen has had to take a break from work (the first in 23 years) in order to have hospital treatment. The Eaton Fund awarded her a grant to a attend a highly specialised two-day course which would provide her with inspiration and help her to return to work.
